The F3q Team Belgium
To organize a national or European competition, we need several contributors.
For a contest to be official and recognized, we need support from:
- Our federation:
It coordinates, publishes the event, and provides insurance coverage in case of an accident. - Organizing club:
The club allows us to use its field for the required time for the competition. It provides the infrastructure and personnel (judges, timekeepers, catering, etc.). - The officials:
In our discipline, we need “dedicated volunteers.” These are individuals who take on responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the contest. There are mainly four roles:- The coordinator – (currently Alain Salon)
- The director – (currently Nadine Pierson)
- The timekeepers (judges) and encoder (IT support)
- The towplane pilots – Didier Kelocom, Alain, Eric, …
A huge thank you to all these people, because without their involvement and participation, there would be no contests or championships.
